Clinical Research Nurse

Part-time position available for RN with knowledge of electronic medical record systems. Responsibilities include reviewing medical records to determine patient eligibility, abstracts medical record data related to disease and treatment; records medical record data on paper or electronic case report forms. RN or equivalent training and clinical experience, or equivalent training and knowledge of clinical practice. Oncology experience preferred. Senior Clinical Research Coordinator

ACORN Research, LLC has an immediate opening for a Senior Clinical Research Coordinator for a large cardiology practice in the Memphis area. This candidate will oversee the program personnel and work closely with the management team to expand and strengthen the clinical research program. The candidate will be responsible for the administration and coordination of cardiovascular research trials for inpatient and outpatient protocols at affiliated hospitals and clinics within the Memphis area. Other duties include patient recruitment, carrying out the enrollment process including obtaining informed consent, completing the CRF, entering information into the clinical program database, meeting with the Investigators, sponsors, and CRO’s. Position requires a Bachelors degree, cardiovascular experience and a minimum of 5 years progressively responsible research experience. A Registered Nurse is preferred; however, any appropriate combination of education, certifications and/or relevant work experience will be considered. Proficiency with windows based software is required. This candidate should also possess excellent interpersonal communication (both written and verbal). Some travel is required..
