AdeptBio™ supports the efforts of personalized medicine and translational research by providing genetically diverse, high quality biospecimens & data for industry and academic research. This partnership enables us to join solid & liquid tissue samples to a wealth of longitudinal medical data and tissue-specific data. This distinguishing focus includes patient history, medical, diagnostic and therapeutic histories, outcomes and both pathology data and quality measures that are often very difficult to obtain.
Liquid samples are collected under stringent standardized operating procedures which include documentation of all relevant time points from blood draw to freezer. In this way we ensure that our products reflect as closely as possible the true in vivo liquid state. Liquid tissues include plasma, serum, whole blood, buffy coat, serial samples and others by request. Solid tumor samples from image guided biopsies, surgical remnants and other non-invasive procedures are collected and fixed in a timely fashion according to strict standardized operating procedures. All samples are obtained and processed within the United States.
This partnership allows us to include services like biomarker storage, management and consultation for clinical trials and other scientific study.
