Patient Reported Outcomes (PROs) via the PACE System™

PROs are used to assess symptom burden, quality of life, compliance, and other aspects of the patient experience. The FDA is placing increased importance on PROs when considering approval and labels for new compounds. ACORN CRO has successfully employed its proprietary PACE system for prospective in-home patient assessments as well in the more traditional clinic setting. 

For retrospective studies, ACORN’s HOPE (Health Outcomes and PharmacoEconomics) division has built a data warehouse that includes clinical data, claims data, and PRO data from a large group of patients treated for cancer. HOPE scientists can answer important questions about practice patterns, treatment outcomes, and side effect profiles for treatment regimens in oncology.
